Nourish

A Yoga and Cooking Retreat in Andalusia, Spain

14th -21st November 2026

A week to slow down and savour life.

Nourish is an invitation to step away from the everyday and spend a week moving, cooking and marinating in presence. Set in the sun-dappled hills of southern Spain at the award-winning Suryalila Retreat Centre, the week unfolds with mornings of yoga, afternoons in the kitchen, and quiet spaces in between to breathe, wander, and soak up the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Andalusian countryside. Together, we’ll blend movement, mindful cooking and relaxation, creating a rhythm that nourishes from the inside out.

Meet your Yoga Guides

Gem and Will have hosted over 20 retreats across the UK and Europe, including Spain, the Balearic Islands, Italy, and Portugal. Their yoga blends vinyasa, somatics, yin, restorative, myofascial release, sound healing, and meditation, often sprinkling in mantra, tantra, and Buddhist psychology.

As a couple, they move in harmony, balancing feminine and masculine energy in ways that feel intuitive and natural. Their teaching is attentive, accepting, and authentic - creating space for curiosity, laughter and stillness alike.

Meet Your Chef & Teacher

Amisha is a retreat chef whose cooking is inspired by her Indian heritage, her mum’s culinary wisdom, and a love of connection through food. She cooks intuitively, bringing presence, love and joy to every meal, helping guests discover how mindful cooking can awaken the senses and nourish both body and heart. Amisha lived and worked at Suryalila Retreat Centre for three years, cooking weekly Indian feasts for guests along with curating retreats and workshops.

Returning now to host NOURISH is a full-circle moment, sharing the same love, intention and warmth that first inspired her in this space. Throughout the week, she will lead hands-on Indian cooking workshops inviting guests to stir, taste, and savour every moment with curiosity and joy.

A day at Nourish

Days begin with gentle yoga with Gem and Will in one of Suryalila’s beautiful yoga shalas as winter sunlight spills across the hills. After practice, enjoy a lovingly prepared breakfast by Suryalila’s talented kitchen team - think creamy porridge, seasonal fruit, healthy pancakes and home-made chocolate spread! Late mornings and early afternoons are for fun hands-on cooking workshops with Amisha rooted in her family recipes.

As well as learning the secrets of authentic healthy Indian vegetarian cuisine, you’ll also explore how cooking can be a mindful practice - chopping, stirring, tasting and discovering the stories behind each dish. Guests will leave with recipes, techniques and awakened creativity.

Afternoons are free to wander, read, swim, or simply savour the quiet of the sunkissed Andalusian mountains. Evenings return to gentle yoga, somatic movement, or meditation with Gem & Will before a delicious buffet dinner by candlelight.

Testimonials

  • An exceptional, incredible and deeply rejuvenating retreat at the beautiful Suryalila. Gem and Will are two outstanding yoga instructors bringing a depth of yoga knowledge to the retreat. Their commitment and exclusive individual passion for everyone on the retreat would be hard to equal.

  • The setting was magnificent, the food was fabulous and the camaraderie was amazing.

  • My absolute favourite sessions were the Forest Sound Gongs. Magic!

  • Excellent tutors throughout the whole week. Thoughtful, encouraging and humorous at all times. Felt sad when it was all over.

  • I think there's a good variety of yoga - between the teaching of philosophy and asana and meditation and sound bath and all things cosmic and magical. It was a wonderful introduction in to the world of yoga and it has inspired me and made me want to dive even deeper.

  • Amazing, unique and bespoke retreats. For anyone who has forgotten how to connect with themselves, joy and laughter then this will take you forwards to enjoying yourself again!

  • Suryalila offers a nurturing, safe and supportive environment where it feels slightly detached from normaility, allowing you to be vulnerable and maybe accept a different perspective.

  • Hard work, with much learning everyday, yet everything feels possible and achievable throughout with the brilliant support of Gem & Billy (& the group). The retreat locations are stunning, surrounded by nature, with great facilities.
